Hello everyone.I just wanted to say thank you for being such a wonderful group.

After a long battle, and managing to get a referral to the National Neurological Hospital, it has been confirmed that my husband does not have MSA or even Parkinsons. The National Neuro admitted him for investigation early 2024 for 3 weeks, followed by a sustained lumber in mid 2024 and fitted a shunt in late September 2024. On Friday they confirmed his only diagnosis was NPH due to the remarkable upturn in his symptoms. I guess the moral of the story is, if it doubt get a second opinion.

I'm going to leave the group as it doesn't seem right me being here now, but I just wanted to say how wonderful each and everyone of you are.

Wishing you all the best.

Sarah

I’ve not heard what NPH is, but you sound pleased and relieved that it’s not MSA or Parkinson’s, so wishing you both all the very best for the future! 🙂

HiddenHi. So, your husband's diagnosis now stands confirmed and distinguished from MSA or PD.

.....I'm going to leave the group as it doesn't seem right me being here now....

Although everyone has a choice to express oneself, I would request your good self that please don't leave the group and stay in touch with the group. You may have ideas that might of some interest to some members and the vice-versa. Moreover, it is always beneficial to be gain knowledge of related disorders. Knowledge is power, they say. Tomorrow you might come across a person who might need knowledge of MSS or PD, then your knowledge could prove very helpful to the person. Best wishes to you and your husband
