My physician put me on estrogen vaginal cream in attempt to decrease my UTI frequency. It’s been 3 1/2 weeks and I have had 3 UTI’s in that time.
I go off of antibiotics and 36 hours later another UTI develops. I feel like the cream is actually making it worse but am hopeful that this is a temporary side effect.
Wondering if anyone else has had experience with this.
Thank you.

Thank you! I have some here but haven’t tried it yet. I was hoping the oestrogen would help. I think I’ll begin taking it tonight. Does it upset his stomach?
Prof Panicker who led the D Mannose research is a trustee of the MSA Trust. I had an appointment with him at Queen’s Square recently and he was very positive about the benefits of it.
I appreciate your comments. Great information . I bought some after reading a little about it on here. I was going to try one thing at a time so I would know what actually worked. That is too exhausting, I’m ready to try everything I can.
That’s incredible. I’m so glad I have asked these questions. I’ve had 9 UTI’s this year. I’d never heard of a product like this. Looking forward to trying it.
Also, I don't know if you've come across this, the district nurse recommended the following cream for bed sores and it does seem to work really well.
Medi Derma-S
Total barrier cream by Medicareplus.
I tried to get it on prescription as it's quite expensive, but failed. So initially when I spot any redness I use Sudocrem antiseptic cream which is a lot cheaper and works ok as a first defence.
