My husband had to go back into hospital a few days ago as he was unable to swallow the phlegm he was getting and is currently having his meds powdered and fed into him via a tube. Anyone else experiencing this?

I noticed no one had responded to you, how are things?
Problems with swallowing can be common, sadly it's part of the progression of the disease. With mum, she struggled for a long time with some drugs so we had liquid paracetamol & made decisions about some things we felt weren't helping and withdrew them. She had a advised early after discussions with her consultant that she didn't want a feeding tube if she could no longer swallow too.
Unfortunately he had to have a feeding tube put in and yesterday they were going to change it for a Peg tube, so I'll soo how he's doing when I speak to him this morning.
If you need any advice, please feel free to message me.
