My husband has been on Sinemet since July and there hasn’t been any improvement whatsoever. He’s constantly dizzy and his consultant told him in a phone appointment that dizziness is always caused by low blood pressure, but last week he went to his gp because it was so bad. He had his BP checked sitting and standing and he had an ecg, all of them were absolutely normal. So his dizziness isn’t caused by low blood pressure. So my question is, is there any other medication if Sinemet doesn’t work?

Hello it's maybe worth a chat with the MSA nurses. my dad has msap and he was on madopar for quite a while, but it didn't really do a lot in the end (which apparently often happens with MSA). It eventually actually started to cause shaking and stiffness ( Parkinson's patients can get this side effect too apparently) so the neurologist phased him off it. He's better without. His spacial awareness was bad on it and I still don't know if it was MSA or the meds, as we can't tell, now he's advanced. Kx
Thanks Kay, yes that’s a good idea contacting the MSA nurse. From what I’ve read so far medication doesn’t seem to have much of a success rate, in fact I’ve not read of anyone who it worked for.
