Eye problems and possible interventions

Hi all

Mum has progressing difficulty opening her eyes- sometimes I have to help her by prising open her eyelids. I’ve made an appointment to see an ophthalmologist to see if there might be a simple procedure that can help. It comes down to quality of life again really. Does anyone have any experience of eye surgery for this part of MSA? The optician doesn’t feel Botox would help although that has been suggested in the past. I don’t know if I’m being unrealistic …
