Hello. My uncle 64 years old has been diagnosed with MSA two months ago. As you know we have serious diffuculties.Sleeping problem is destroying everything. He used Seroquel but it didn't help. Doctor changed Seroquel to Clonazepam. Now he sleeps two hours for a day.
If you have the information about solving of sleeping problem , can you share with me? Different medicine or useful dose of these medicines?
Thank you.

What is the issue? What is keeping him or you awake? Discomfort, shakes, breathing, panic, worry...and so on... clonozepam helps with dreams and nightmares. My wife uses amitriptyline as a relaxant.
Try chatting with your GP and Consultant along with the MSA trust nurses and try to solve the problem which is causing no sleep.
