I know a lot of people with PSP have Botox for the same reason and they report that it works for a few months.

Thanks Marie for that it's good to know . I have discovered only today that having Botox in the jaw can affect your swallowing. Did they mention that at all?

Thanks

Can't recall anyone saying that. You can go on the PSP site and ask the question? They are a great bunch and will certainly tell you and anything else you might be wondering. I flit between there and the MSA site!

I have a friend

who has regular Botox injections for an unrelated bladder problem. Shesays is works too well at the beginning and not well enough when it is wearing off. She was also told that an injection which failed to work at all was because she was taking a paticular antibiotice at the time. Not sure how that works but it was the hospital who told her.

She finds it most useful to time her injection so that it is working best when she has a special event or a holiday to go to
