Hi all, Now at +202 days post transplant!
Have been feeling very well apart from the “normal” aches and pains associated with getting older!
Had another BMB at the end of February then last week had a DLI as my T-cells were falling.
The BMB was ok since there was entonox on offer and am still waiting on the results of this (about three weeks).
The DLI was a very short procedure, one syringe full of fresh lymphocytes, few checks on BP etc. and we were out again in an hour. Further infusions if needed are to be after three months. These are from frozen and the anti freeze used before infusion can cause a reaction and also smells like popcorn!
Has also been explained that increased chances of GvHD at about six weeks after but will deal with that if anything happens.
Will be back in clinic mid April so hopefully they will have all results in by then.
Thanks again to all who have responded in the past, it’s good to know there are others who understand or who want to understand more…
G.
