Hi does anyone know if interferon is still as hard to source as it was as my pharmacy is finding hard to get it in again 🤔Tks to all in advance .

Pegasys is still in short supply in many places. The new manufacturer is set to resume production later in 2025. Besremi is readily available if your healthcare system is willing o access it.

Still shortages of Pegasys in the UK but hoping those will ease in late summer/autumn of this year once supply and distribution are resumed

Yes, as Hunter states that later in the year (September) supplies would be circulating again but that is no guarantee of where.I am supplied by monthly allocations of three jabs only since last August/September. But twice I have missed out and have gone 4 weeks between allocations. Plts have been more or less stable, fatigue has been less so.

Latest chat with specialist nurse suggested approval from consultant to extend time between jabs because if I switch to besrami I would only have to switch back in September.

Yes it is. Ive been switched to besremi because of the shortage. Seems to be ok for me. Maybe ask about being switched?

I am trying 1 injection monthly, have just been supplied with 1. My chemist at moment gettin a limited supply, I believe monthly, they only had 3 in when I got mine But Besremi I believe is there for us too as back up
