positive for Covid

Hi I have ET Jak2 positive for the past yr

I take HU 10 500mg a week

I was feeling unwell headache & cold slight fever 🤒

Did a test today positive had my vaccine 10 days ago.

tried to get hold of my CNS to see if I need to do anything or some advise

Feeling pretty rubbish but I think I can ride it.

has anyone had the antivirals?

Sorry to hear the bug got you.

I did monoclonal antibodies when I got COVID in 2022. It helped.

I had antivirals a year ago and it was amazing. I was terrified of catching Covid so when my husband walked into the bedroom and said he was positive I was terrified but thanks to the vaccines and antiviral drip it was no big deal. I lost my mum to Covid so I was scared. The biggest thing for me now is that I have Long Covid, suffering with extreme breathlessness and tiredness.

I did take anti viral 5 days into catching Covid very bad ! For me sadly I had awful upset tum on it so stopped after taking 6 tablets my Covid lasted 11 days

I’m on 1,500mg of HU a day Monday to Saturday and 2,000mg on a Sunday too. Ive been on this for a long time now, also had Covid 3 times !! I felt not so good 🥵 but! Just got on with it 🤷‍♂️😂 I’m only a very small person with ET Calr but all that HU doesn’t seem to affect me with any side effects, and I work in a School around lots of kids and I never seem to get anything / viruses 🦠 going around 🤷‍♂️😂I hope I haven’t spoken too soon!🙏🤭

Aww thanks for reply very similar to my diagnosis and meds

I’m very small too petite in size we’re stronger 💪🏻 than we look …… I'm gonna ride it through just glad I had my vaccine a few weeks a go. As I think it has made a difference to the symptoms.
