If you're white cell count is low this is often the case there's an infection you have if you were notified by letter you should get in touch with your GP surgery and maybe they have a letter from your consultant telling them that you have an appointment or a message from the GP to collect a prescription if this is the case or they may want to repeat your bloods would be worth a try to contact your GP and ask about your results and what they mean I know I get my bloods three monthly get results and then I see consultant face to face three months later Stay safe

If you are referring to Immunoglobulin M, then be aware that the body makes IgM antibodies when you are first infected with new bacteria or other germs. A mild elevation in IgM may be nothing more than a minor infection. Suggest you review your question directly with your MPN care team for a more specific answer about what it means in your case.

Hi, I have been on Hydroxy for 9 years and have stayed very stable on it so I'm afraid I cannot help you with this. I am sure that your GP should be able to help, or if not your consultant who should, I feel, have given you information about all of this.

Hope you have some answers soon.

Best wishes, Jenny

Hi I saw your post, I have been on hydroxyurea for 3 years and I have been okay. I am assuming your IgM level is beyond the normal range. (I don't know the equivalent to our numbers) I really cant help with any information, but it could be something that is temporary or very mild that is affecting you. Two years ago, I had a viral infection that the hospital couldn't identify. A blood test showed all levels of "everything" were not good. I returned to normal after a week. Your doctor is probably the best person to speak with. Best wishes.
