MPNs in young and very young patients

I know there are people in this support group who were diagnosed young and who had elevated blood counts for years before the diagnosis and, as this is also my situation, I am going to link some studies below on MPNs in young adults and in children, in the hope that this might help you with your treatment or with the management of your MPN. MPNs in young adults and in children are different than the ones in older age and the risk scores based on age are not useful for this population. The needs in these populations are different, and treatment and management goals need adjustment.
