hi Jody, you can read about Anagrelide in our information booklet, you can then write down any questions you have and take them with you when you see your haematologist
I have been on Anagrelide for 10 months now. I started with 0.5/day and now 1.5/day. I had some side effects the first two weeks which started to subside gradually and now i almost have none, maybe some flu like symptoms or other side effects lingering from time to time. It did bring my platelets down to the upper limit of the normal range. Generally speaking it is very good and effective.
