I don't know but if you have developed a vision problem please see an optician as soon as possible.

I’ve seen an optician already. Field vision resukts abnormal

I go for an annual opticians check up and he told me because of the Hydroxy I had to have an ocular test each year as it can impact on your eye sight.

they put drops in your eyes to enlarge pupils - you have to wait 30-60 min for that to work then go back and they check through a machine. Cost me $25NZ so not going to break the bank and better tk be sure. My optician just told me that the Hydroxy could create problems and that I needed to have this extra check up with my annual visit. I can’t find eye issues online but better to be sure than sorry.

I'm 76 and have been on hydroxyurea for 2 years. Recently had an eye exam by an opthamologist and she found no changes from 2 years ago. I will note that my vision is not as good in the evening - whether it's reading or watching tv and that is different from 2 years ago but I guess it could also be age related.

I have been taking 1 gram daily for over 5 years and have not experienced any change in vision or vision issues.

I use a small amount only 500mg four times per week. I have not associated any vision issues with hyd. I do wake with blurred vision secondary to my MPN. It improves by mid morning. I believe it is a symptom many have. Good luck.
