Has anyone watched ‘Celebrity save our Sperm’ channel 4 ?
If not I thoroughly recommend it it.
After reading Louprov ‘s ( sorry if misspelt)post on what to eat it prompted me . It’s mind blowing, hence my post.
If what we consume can halve a man’s sperm count what does it do to the rest of the population.
I’ve banned my husband from buying fruit and veg wrapped in plastic.( I had tried before but failed) well now he’s listening. It’s impossible for me to buy a lettuce without it so I gave out a whoopee when I saw one in the fridge not covered. Haha he took the wrapping off before I saw it! Yes I tried growing it but all I did was give the birds a feast.
Why is the uk government allowing us to destroy our bodies? There I am thinking we are a nanny state!
Gonna try lettuce growing again🤗!

I agree with you. I'm trying to eat clean . But it's so hard to get food that doesn't have loads of stuff added or packed in plastic. I'm reading things and thinking how has this been allowed to happen. Foods that are carcinogenic but only if you eat to much of it. Why is it in there in the first place ? Then there sweetners try finding any diluting juice without sweetners its impossible. And we are giving this to kids growing up. It's so wrong. Our food is def making us ill.
Hello Wyebird, , haven't seen the programme but sounds interesting and will catch up with it. . Definitely going to stop wrapping myself in cling film from now on 😀.Just an associated point we have a separate kitchen bin for plastic type wrapping as I noticed Aldi have a recycling receptacle in store for crisp , bread bags, sweets, choc, and veg wrappers etc. Since doing this we reduced our general waste down to a single 50ltr bin liner a fortnight.
I try hard to recycle as much as possible but would prefer manufacturers to use alternatives for many things and plastic around fruit and veg is a prime example especially that which has its own skin like Bananas. We need to start taking it seriously for future generations before it's too late. But of course it needs huge investment.
