At 60 years old I have my first cold sore. 😷
I belong to a Besremi support group and a few people are correlating a link between the shot and developing a breakout.
I know it could just be a coincidence but I’d be interested to know if any on Besremi here have had this problem.
Hi there. After my first couple shots of Besremi, I noticed two what I would call canker sores. They were small and went away pretty quickly. I’ve competed six injections and haven’t had any more since those first two. Good luck to you!
I've had rare minor ones for years. So far same or fewer since Bes start last Feb. Have you tried the Lysine you asked about? It comes in gel also, I take the pill and apply the gel.
Another very effective fix is heat. You can get a cup of slightly hot water or coffee and heat the area. If done early this can stop it in less than a hour. Best temp is below the pain level. I made an electric heating device for this. But I can go a year+ with no breakouts so I don't use these often.

I have had cold sores for decades, but haven't seen an increase since on Besremi. I do use Abreva when I do get one and get great results with it.
No cold sores for me and I have been with Besremi since February. Best wishes!
