Besremi side effects

I started my first dose of 100 Besremi last Wed. No problems until yesterday. I felt like I was hit by a truck. Low grade fever, throwing up and achy body. Have others had the same side effect and does it take a few days before side effects show up?

I got migraines when I first started and they didn't start until the second week after first dose.

I get different side effects, rashes/itching. The AEs can show up at any time and are not in any way connected to the timing of the Besremi dose.

Your starting dose may have been too high. I started at 50mcg. Crazy thing is I'm into my second year on Besremi and side effects have just shown up in the last few months. I'm still at 50mcg/2 weeks.

I think I am having menstrual irregularities due to it. And it took a few months. But you could also have a stomach bug. I would talk to your doctor. They may have you lower it and try again.

Good Morning Teachme85. 🌞 I have been taking six months and dose went from 100 to now 150. I noticed slight bowel discomfort first few doses and then no more. Also, two days after I would be extremely tired and nap. Now I can’t say I notice anything anymore and hope it continues that way.

I am sorry you are experiencing side effects. Hopefully your body will acclimate and it will bother you less. Hit by a truck is similar to my experience at two days. Sending you positive thoughts. And best of Luck in your journey 🍀

the first injection I experienced a low grade fever and body aches a few days after injection. My dose has doubled without those side effects, but I only have had 3 injections.

Did you go from Pegasys to Besremi or something else?

I went from hydroxurea to Besremi.

my doctor told me I have graduate from Pegasus to Besremi. Maybe that was to prepare me for the side effects.

I do get flu like symptoms about a week after the shot. Not always but it’s not uncommon. 50mcgs every 2 weeks.

I had very achy body for the first three dosages. Now it seems to have morphed into a bone pain, but not sure. Baby ASA and Tylenol helped body aches
