One of my eyes got blurry a few times along with migraines right before I started on hydroxy. I’ve been on the pill six weeks and it immediately cleared up as soon as I started on it.

Usually when only one eye is affected, it is an Ocular (Retinal) Migraine which is a microvascular issue. This type of migraine is different than Visual Migraines that affect both eyes and are based in the brain. Hydroxyurea does tend to be helpful with microvascular symptoms. Glad to hear that it is working for you.

I have had visual migraines in the past through the years and this was definitely different, almost like a flash in one eye.I am followed by Retina doctor and he said there was no damage. Thank you for the info.

I had ocular migraines for couple years on and off got bit more frequent just prior to dx, never knew why I had them just thought an eye issue but since aspirin and venesections touch wood I have not had any since
