chickenpox

my grandson has been vaccinated for chickenpox, which I believe is a live vaccine.

I have primary intermediate MF, sarcoidosis and heart disease. I have had chickenpox as a child. Am I at risk for shingles if I see him?

I am 67 and not had the shingles vaccine. (Uk).

Also, anyone treated at Adenbrooks in Cambridge?

If you check the NHS site about chickenpox it confirms you can't get shingles from someone with chickenpox but on the other hand someone with shingles can give someone chickenpox. I appreciate you are asking about the chickenpox vaccine and I would assume this is the same but you might want to double check with your Clinical Practice Nurse just to reassure yourself.

Thanks for replying. I have only joined a few months ago and still finding my feet. Who is treating you? Are there more members in the Cambridge area? Good luck with your treatment.
