I guess Maz will be best able to answer your questions about Forums. I hope they do resume, I have been to two in London and found them very good. I usually stay overnight and get a little shopping trip in as well! 👠 👜

Yes, had my BMB a few weeks ago, preliminary results are all as expected but waiting for some more results apparently? It was fine and had very little pain during or after the procedure.

I had an abdominal scan last week as had some pain recently and I think Dr Coppell wanted to do a baseline check as I'm a relatively new patient at the RD&E.

Hi Judy,

So, I got the results of my scan - my spleen is fine but they've found a growth on my left kidney. I had a face to face yesterday with the consultant and Rosie the CNS, she's lovely, and they talked through the next steps. I've been referred to Urology and have already got a full body CT scan booked for next Wed at the Nightingale.

Obviously it's a concern but the fact that they're doing everything so quickly is good.

🤞 if it is cancer, it hasn't spread!

Fingers crossed for you Ian, glad everything is moving quickly, less worry than having to wait. Sounds like you’re being well looked after.

I went in for a hysterectomy 3 weeks ago and they found a mass on my appendix so I had that out as well. I went back today for the results on the appendix and histology wasn’t back on that yet, so still waiting 🙄

Hopefully won’t be much longer.

I heard that the Nightingale are doing lots of scans etc now. Someone told me today that there is no parking there, they had to park at B&Q and walk down. You may be best to check it out beforehand.
