Living with MPD's Day/Forums

Hi,

Will there be another Living with MPD's day this year? I notice there was a 2 yr gap between the first and second one. I was unable to attend last year.

Also - How often do the forums occur? I noticed that there was just one in Colchester and soon one in Belfast.

Hi Paul42, we are having a meeting in the next couple of weeks to discuss forums, we are hoping to hold more this year around the country including our usual 2 in London, as soon as I have dates and venues I will let everyone know via email, the website and will also put details on this forum. We will also be discussing the Living with MPDs Day and whether or not we will hold another one this year or wait until next year, again, I will let everyone know as soon as I have any news. Kind regards, Maz.

Hi Maz, it would be good if there was the possibility of a Scottish venue. Kind regards Lucy

Hi Lucy,

If it's any use and a little bit closer to home, I think there's going to be one in the north west maybe in the spring, hopefully Manchester....

I too would like to see another patient day as I missed the last two, but realise that the organisation must be mammoth.

Meanwhile in the light of the news today re an increase in cancer of 75% over the next decade, ( sounds a lot to me, but who knows) - prob in part due to our unhealthy diets, may I point you in the direction of the Penny Brohn Cancer care website.

They will supply info re diet and lifestyle.

I have followed an organic diet for 18 months, have reduced fatigue by 70 to 80%, and feel well.

Re future forums in Scotland. If the furthest north we can reach is Manchester we're in trouble. I would have thought there was enough interest for at least one venue in Scotland.

Hi Maz - a lot seems to happen around London and the South which is usually the way with everything. I live in the

North East and it would be great if a forum could be arranged in York, it would only take me an hour of travel time

and feel that there must be other people in this area suffering with ET, PV etc. Thanks. Dorotea
