Well thought I would let you know GP called to say that they have ordered the vaccine and should be in tomorrow and booked me in for my first jab on the 9th March, which is good, but now have to cancel 4th covid jab as there must be a four week gap either side of the shingles jab. Plus my Haematologist is sending me a letter to take to my covid appointment to tell them I am eligible for the fourth one. So am pleased that if you don’t ask you don’t get just by making a little fuss its all worked out.

Had Shingrix a few weeks ago - they nearly gave me the 'Ordinary' one. Don't forget Shingrix is two stage - you need another one in 6 months. With all the jabs and venisections i'm starting to feel like the proverbial pin-cushion.
I had my first shot in Oct and second one last week. No problems other than very stiff/sore arm for a couple of days. I am relieved to have the shots. I know several people who suffered greatly with Shingles. Very expensive tho. Each shot cost $200.
