I have et but my platelets are nearly normal now with no treatment, but my hb is slightly low so been offered another bone marrow biopsy,what are they looking for does anyone know. Thanks

Out of curiosity, what are your platelets at? See my profile. I might be in a similar position.
The doc is looking for a change in MPN Status to determine why your blood cell numbers have declined. Bone marrow morphology is one element of making this determination.
