3rd dose or is it a booster?

When I had my flu jab last week I enquired about the 3rd dose/booster though the receptionist wasn’t aware of any differences, however a lady in front of me had just cancelled her booster slot so I managed to get that booked in for the next day after the flu jab in the same arm.

When I saw the jabber I showed him the blood cancer and MPN voice letters he said it was the first he had heard of it and my disease of ET. So I asked if this the full dose of Pfizer and he said yes.

However looking on patient access I have had a 0.3 dose compared to two 0.5 of AZ

COVID-19 mRNA Vaccine Pfizer-BioNTech BNT162b2 30micrograms/0.3ml dose concentrate for suspension for injection multidose vials (Pfizer Ltd)

This may explain why I had more side effects from the flu jab than the Pfizer apart from a sore arm I have felt fine.

To me this looks like I’ve had a booster and not the so called 3rd primary dose, though if anyone can add some light that would be much appreciated.

If you’ve received Pfizer, .3 mls dose is correct, that is the full dose whether 3rd primary or booster.

It's a third dose from what I can see. Not sure if I want another one to be honest.

I had no side effects apart from a sore arm.

The question is if you have inmunusupresion or not and if you are on Interferon. Answers, please.

I got my 3rd Prizer yesterday so I didn't have to fight over whether it was a third primary vaccine or a booster. Great relief. My arm is much more sore than it was on the first and second. I'm sure that's a good sign but I wonder why it has that effect. My legs felt very heavy when I got up in the night, too (I have spinal compression fractures that are still sore and affect my legs.

I'm annoyed that the surgery sent me a text to book a test and, like every other time, it tells you there are none available. So I had to drive ten miles. No big deal, but when I got back, I saw they were doing the jabs where I had the last one, near the surgery. Because the nurses were all there, I was unable to collect my injections that were in the fridge. So another trip this morning.
