Hi, I had vision change a couple of months ago so went to the optician's and they referred me for blood tests as my vision is perfect my first bloods came back as raised bulirubin and platlets since then I have had a further 3 blood tests one being a specialist one because red bloods cells are coming back abnormal, hematology have now asked the doctors to do another specialist blood test which im having next week....my question is my bulirubin platlets and LDH are all raised and the doctor ordered a blood test because he was concerned my immune system was attacking my red blood cells.....now he is saying it could all be down to gilberts syndrome...I dont think this is the right diagnosis as anyone else had these problem and its been down to G.S, also I have have not been myself for the last year, lightheadness, sickness, palpitations, tacycardia chest pain/pressure, vision change..thank you for reading ❤

I have a diagnosed PV (Jan. 2021) and since then I also realized that I have a slightly raised Bilirubin (direct and indirect), while LDH remains (relatively) normal with rare slightly increased values. Platelets count is increased here as well etc. but that is due to my PV.
My doctor(s) diagnosed a Gilbert Syndrom with respect to my Bilirubin values.
Any chance that you share your values, then it would be easier to comment - at least for me.
I wouldn't worry too much so far, IMHO G.S. is not unlikely.
