Soooo are we protected or not after having both jabs? I have read reports and seen interviews on tv that say some people with blood cancer have no immunity.
If that’s the case, why are we not all being offered antibody tests so we know one way or the other?
I’ve contacted my haematologist secretary today - he’ll get back to me tomorrow 🤷♀️
Also, totally different topic, but I’ve been told I can’t have HRT for menopause but has anyone come across any effective herbal remedies to help with flushes and especially night sweats - they’re driving me mad!
Thanks Lou xx

Hi, I used to take isoflavone supplement tablets when in peri-and early post menopause (this was before I was diagnosed with PV). This is a review about them ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl.... I think it helped and you can find these quite easily. You should however still check with your haematologist if ok to take them.
Hi there. I just posted to another thread that the response I got from Guy’s earlier this week was that data from the initial research looks promising suggesting 80 to 90 percent protection after the first jab. Research is under way as to the degree of protection after the second jab. Meanwhile have the vaccine but act as if you’re still vulnerable.
Menopause- I used to have soya milk- not in tea or coffee though. You must buy a decent brand- I used to have Alpro in my cereal. At first It’s an acquired taste then I preferred it. I even made Yorkshire pud out of it , the family didn’t notice. It didn’t get rid of the out flushes but reduced them significantly.
Hi Louise, I've been asking myself the same question. Some of the symptoms appear to be similar, night sweats, fatigue etc but I can't get a doc to even talk about it, let alone suggest anything for it. I've been ignored for years over it. My advice would be what I'm telling myself: don't be fobbed off any more, ask questions, do your own research. There has to be something we can do!
