Thanks! This was very clear and helpful.
Interesting presentation. Nice to see Integrative medicine concepts applied specifically to MPNs. Very supportive of the type of diets some of us are following.
This is great, thank you! 👍👍👍
Thank you for posting 👍
Just read through this and thought it informative but am confused with dairy. In the section re vitamin D dairy appears to be recommended, but further down dairy is included in foods to be avoided.Does anybody have any thoughts on whether or not it should be included in an anti inflammatory diet?
Well spotted.. Not so clear and simple.!!I have been reccomend to have very little cheese. Ie. Once a week, small portion.
Kefir is good. Easy to make. Cows milk fine or other. Organic. Every day
A little of what you fancy does no harm as long as it doesn't lead to craving more...
This is absolutely amazing thanks so much for sharingRecently diagnosed and struggling to change bad food lack of exercise habits for many years!!!!
Thanks so much for posting this article. I try to eat healthy but sometimes we need reminders about what is good for you and what is not.
Thanks for the link! A question for this presenter would be why fortified milk is given the okay under the vitamin D list, but dairy is not okay under the trans fat list. Also, if dairy is an avoid, what about yogurt as a probiotic for the microbiome? I took dairy out of my diet for 4 months and noticed my CBC values were relatively the same (except for a slight increase in platelet count). So now I’ve incorporated it back into my diet, but in moderation, to help with my calcium intake for osteopenia.
Vitamin K is also a bit confusing for me, as I make lots of green juices/smoothies with kale in the mornings, and green leafy vegetables are supposed to be anti-inflammatory.
I think, with everything in life, balance is the key.
Balance and using our own judgment, as we all respond differently.I can tolerant kefir and yoghurt
but not milk
One size doest fit all!!
I actually didn't look in to great a depth at charts as I am very familiar with anti inflammatory diet.
Glad others are pointing out contradiction s
Good article and thanks for sharing!!!
