I am at 3000IU of Vit D qd. that has me at 47 ng/mL (reference range 30 - 100). I may up it a bit, at least during the Winter. Will see what the Integrative medicine doc says.

My NF-Specialist doc suggested I stay on it all the time since NF1 can be accompanied by Vit D deficiency. I expect taking Nexium every day does not help. Also Vit B/Folate and magnesium deficient. Just goes to show how important it is to pay attention to our nutritional needs.

Morning

Yes I was told to take it long term to . I’ll see how much it goes down in 3 months.

Hopefully yours is heading up

It’s an ongoing challenge trying to balance things isn’t it !!

it is a balancing act. Rather like riding a unicycle on a high wire while juggling knives with no net. The whole iron deficient but not too iron deficient balance is also really tricky and not without consequences.

All the best my friend.
