Do mpn patients who receive vaccine develop antibodies the same as other people do?

Although I know people who have an MPN can receive the vaccine- my question is whether MPN patients are similar to other people after they receive the vaccine and develop antibodies to protect them.

Has Dr. C. Harrison spoken about this issue of antibodies and MPN patients?

There would appear to be no reason why that should not be the case.

hello Jeanr, I asked Prof Harrison about this and she has said: we believe so, we will talk about this on the forum. We are doing a study, we have done one with the flu vaccine which does show responses.
