Is it safe to take any covid vaccine with hydroxy? The instructions I've been given are not to take any live vaccines.

I had the Moderna vaccine five days ago. Sore arm still but no other effects. I am so happy to have been able to get it.

None of the COVID vaccines are 'live' vaccines.

I am 73 and ET JAK2 +. My surgery wrote saying that I should have the shingles vaccine. As advised by my haematologist, I asked him first and he was horrified. He said absolutely NO live vaccines. Then I had the flu vaccine and my arm swelled to literally twice the size. No more vaccines of any sort for me.

I understand yes, I have asked my haematologist and he gave me the green light!The hospital team I saw yesterday, kindly got a doctor to see me and they advised I should give myself an extra week after the second dose before expecting 95% immunity.

Apart from a slightly sore arm, I am here and feeling well day one post vaccine . i received the Pfiser one.
