Hi everyone,
I'm experiencing a feverish feeling which comes and goes. I'd say I feel it at least once/day, but I have no fever. I'm not seeing this listed in the list of symptoms.
Is anyone else experiencing this feverish feeling too?

Hi, I have been having this a bit I think, I have been thinking it feels a bit like a minor hot flush, that comes over me and does then pass after a bit. Haven't thought about it majorly, I am at that age for a woman, but do get hot flushes and this isn't quite the same as that.be very interested to see if anyone else has this or has views on it!
Hi there I thought same as you Minu68 menopausal flashes but I had these after an iron infusion due to anaemia ( my haematologist did not ok this )
Ended up with severe flu like symptoms and up to 50 hot flushes-(feeling feverish) daily for about 4weeks afterwards it settled to about 2 or 3 flashes a week
Check your red cell count as it may be on the rise hope this helps
It's quite common in PV, I believe, especially of the face.
Sometimes I get chills which seems strange when no fever and the room isn’t cold. Also the occasional hot flush. X
Hi there,I often have flushing and intermittent episodes of chills to the point where my teeth chatter. The flushing happens daily, though. My complexion is very red and I feel like it is due to the high platelets. I also feel that the flushing, which for me is also accompanied by sweating, is also due to the high platelets. I have had this flushing both before and after menopause. It is different from the menopause hot flashes.
I have had high platelets for 25 years and was finally diagnosed with ET JAK2 positive in October and started on Hydrea. I am having a bone marrow biopsy this week.
When I started on Hydrea, I felt like a leper to my family! The warnings on the drug label were terrifying to me! I was afraid to kiss my family for fear that my saliva was carcinogenic from Hydrea! My physician has dispelled that and alleviated my fears. I hope she’s right!
I have only been on this forum for a month or so and am still learning about ET.
Take Care
Kim
Thanks, I'm 72, so I don't think it's hot flashes at this point. It sounds like at least a few others are feeling it too. How about, are any men feeling it?
I also want to say not to be afraid of Hydrea. The insert says scary things about handling the meds, but I've been on it for about 1 1/2 years. It's hard to separate out which symptoms are from the disease (PV) and which ones from the meds, but so far, certainly I've experienced nothing major.
Thank you!
