I'm 70 have ET and am Jak2 positve. I have a holiday booked for January in the Canary Islands, booked over a year ago. If I'm going I need to book my flights soon but should I go, difficult decision. We'd be self catering not being with or talking to anyone for the duration, it's mainly the airport and flight I'm concerned about. My husband thinks it's risky I think I'm prepared to go, have many others travelled recently or planning to with my condition?

Travelling
Just flew 3 weeks ago from U.K. to New Zealand via Singapore. Was excellent flight I then had managed isolation in New Zealand for two weeks - have had 2 Covid tests and all good. Am 69. I think it will depend on the airline - check that out
I'd be very very wary. The short haul airlines are still making people sit next to each other on the plane. I'm not getting on one until at least next spring.
I think it depend on the airline you fly with. I flew a short trip with SAS, nobody was sitting next to any other passenger. People were not allowed to get on and leave the flight at the same time. It felt quite safe.
I would not fly personally.
Hi I didn’t think we were allowed to fly when having ET
Another thing to think about. Does your travel insurance cover you during the pandemic?
