I have et jak 2 please tell me if there is something to help with the needles and pins feeling I sometimes get

It's from the heat. You can take a benadryl beforehand or use cooler water. Itching has long been my main symptom and I take Atarax for it, which has a similar effect as benadryl.

Hard to say whether you are experiencing paresthesia or mild aquagenic pruritis. Would be a good thing to review with a MPN Specialist doc. Meanwhile, you might try a milder temp shower and see if it helps.

This was my first symptom of PV. Rather uncomfortable. Usually when I got out of the shower. However, somebody at an MPN forum suggested I pat myself dry rather than rub and that helped a lot.
