So thank to everyone for their time and insights and tips and knowledge. Just wondering if this rings a bell with any one as an ET symptom? I have temperature ranges with feeling cold, once I get cold it is hardish to get warm again and extra layers don't help. My feet and arms suffer particularly with feeling cold and then hot. I feel almost shivery but then can feel hot quickly. I am also often really hot in the middle of the night and can be sweaty. This isn't a fever or a menopause thing and is generally related to feeling tired. It is as vague as I have made it sound .... sorry can't get my doctor to take any notice but just wondered if it rung a bell with anyone? Thanks to you all for just being there x

100% the same. Winter I can't get warm, numb fingers and toes, wear socks 24/7. Summer get too hot and can't handle the sun. If there's a draught on a warm day I get very cold. Hot sweats during the day but tend to be when my body has had enough and hot sweats at night. Little temperature control & wherever I go I have to take my "wardrobe" to cover any temperature changes. I'm well past menopause & diagnosed ET 2014
I have ET Jak2+, on aspirin and hydroxycarbamide and I am exactly the same with regard to temperature control. The night sweats are the worst.

Maybe an idea to get your thyroid checked.
I have PV (6 years) and have same temperature problems too hot in warm weather then I get too cold and cannot warm up and very cold hands and ankles - have just always considered myself a cold person!! Used to worship the sun - no more! You have my sympathy - best wishes

Hello,
Low iron can also make you feel cold, when I was diagnosed I had no iron stores in my bone marrow. Of course, it also contributes to fatigue.
Take good care.
