Very nice Aime,so very well cared for too ,smashing pond....afraid our garden tends to be a bit wild.....we are on a rocky site,so when ever you try to plant ,rock is an inch or so below soil...clay I should say......got lots of ancient roses and shrubs tho....the house is 400 years old .!So you can imagine the interesting rocks there are .

Wow Aime . Are you a National Trust property? That’s so beautiful.

That’s it I’m not posting any pics of my little plot..

Thank you. Some hard work gone into that. Lovely

No, to be honest my hubby does the hard work and I do the flowers and veg, etc. He cuts the grass, made the pond from the old pond that was there etc.xx my in laws had this house and garden for many years, we had to move in after my mother in law couldn't cope when my father in law died. Then after 8 years I couldn't cope with her, sounds bad I know and she moved into a home. So the home has been in the family for years.xx

Sandy and Judy, my veg and plants are just little plots which I can work at, but my hubby does main garden work.xx😻😻

Lovely garden. I'm luckier than you. A fox had made a burrow in my tiny 15x15ft inner London garden. The flower bed is about 3ft wide. I've got two huge holes. I know nothing about Foxes but have been leaving dog food at night. I'm waiting delivery of a wildlife camera to try and film it. No point in doing any gardening except for in pots.

Hi Guys, bad news about our big and beautiful fish! We think a mink ate 3/4 and number 4 was just alive minus a tail! We had to put it out of its misery! Tail was chewed off and hardly any remains of the other 3 fish. We had fencing on top of the pond but at the shallow end there was a gap so a mink, we think, is the most likely culprit as they can swim under the wire. There were also bite marks on the back of the head of the fourth fish.

My husband has now put netting wire on top of the original fencing and we have 6 little fish again who should have a very secure home now. We have also seen a heron at the pond but they don’t chew tails off first!

Nature is wonderful most of the time! I’ve just spent half an hour trying to catch a crow with either a broken wing or it’s caught up with wire or something. I can get to 10 feet of it, then it hops away so I’ve phoned the SSPCA and they will hopefully rescue it.

On a lighter note - Miss Aime, Mr Crow, Croaky the crow, a load of tadpoles, 1 hedgehog plus 6 new fish are doing well. We also have lots of different baby birds getting fed by harassed parents! All my plants are sprouting. I’ll post some photos soon.

Hope you’re all as well as you can be, kindest regards Aime xx😻😻
