A lot of people are posting about difficulty and worry over getting food / delivery slots ... I hope this helps...
1. Contact your local council
Local U.K. councils are working to link people who can’t shop with volunteers who can shop for you.
2. Contact Local age concern branch as they are organising volunteers too. My local branch has been contacting all those on their contact list to see what they need.
3. Look at community apps such as ‘Nextdoor’ where people are volunteering to help neighbours with shopping. Be cautious that these volunteers are not vetted. But there might be someone on it you know but you didn’t think to ask.
4. local shops / farm shops might be able / pleased to help directly if you ring them.
5. In London ... Covent Garden traders who usually supply hotels and restaurants etc have started delivering so worth a look if they can deliver to you
Very best to all
