This is an early piece of research however, and as yet is only being tested in mouse modelling... So it's really just a glimpse of one hypothesis at this juncture...
But if i know well, this new treatment for preventing fibrosis,will not be the first in his class.. Prm151 is supposed to do the same thing in the future.. Or this treatment has something unique that I miss out??
Not sure what 'Prm151' does as I have not yet read up on anything to do with it & MF of late. I did hear it was a new trial drug that showed some promise etc...
However, I wasn't trying to make a comparison with any other drug/s or treatments, merely showing a piece of new scientific research that might someday assist MF sufferers is all...
