Clearly it doesn’t state MPNs, but perhaps there is a chance in the future something like this could be used.

Wow very intersting. I start to believe that the cure for cancer is within us. The price though!? Do you think that is going to stay so high??

The first myeloid panel tests (the chromosome test that all mpn patients should do) cost in excess of $100k when they were first developed. They are now under $1k, just a few years later. All new medicine is expensive at first.

Hi jimb - thanks so much for this post (I have a rare lymphoma along with my ET + I can now have this post in my ‘arsenal’ if needs be should it decide to escalate - I don’t hold my breath that haems necessarily keep up with these developments unless they are specialists)!

Could you please let me know if CAR-T therapy that is so expensive is free for patients?? I live in Europe,so i cant undrstand what a patient is going to pay for this therapy... Is it free ???
