Health insurance for pre-existing conditions (UK)

ilovetoastwithbutter profile image

I have health insurance to help pay for extras (they accept pre-existing conditions). Very accepting of a wide range of complementary and alternative practitioners too, if they are registered with a professional body. See their websites for more. I'm with HealthShield. Medicash also highly recommended by a friend on a very low income.

Hi! This is BonnieJ here in the USA. As you may know, there are many problems with our healthcare system here.

Can you please tell me more about how the NHS works in the U.K.? I thought all people there have health coverage thru it, and that it took care of ALL conditions including pre-existing ones.
