Husband has Pv/mpn takes Ruxolitinib and baby aspirin daily. He is under going total knee replacement surgery and has been told to stop taking his aspirin a week before. We forgot to ask his haematologist when he should restart!!!! I believe he will have blood thinning injections in his stomach for 14 days after surgery.

Hi I had a total knee replacement four and a half years ago, stopped the Aspirin a week before and my Hydroxycarbamide, restarted a week later after the injections stopped which I did myself, they kept an eye on my bloods the whole time. All went well.

Looking like I might have to have the other one done as that is starting to give up on me.
