WATER A novel and delicious way to drink 2 litres of water daily.

Hello All

I am not a keen drinker of water but I do know how important it is for our health. So I have come up with a novel way that helps me drink lots of it and enjoy it.

I buy a 2 litre bottle of soda water, you can make more if you like. Place the soda water in a water jug with measurements. Pour a punnet or two of sliced strawberries, depending on the size of the punnets, and then squeeze drops of lemon juice to taste. Place in the fridge. If you need to leave the house then you can pour it into a normal water bottle.

Enjoy

Anna

Do you remember the song "Just a spoon full of sugar helps the medicine go down!"? I remember Julie Andrews singing it about 50 years ago when I was a little younger than I am now! It must have been in the film Mary Poppins. Anyway, I think your yummy recipe for strawberries and soda water is worthy of a similar cheerful song!!

Best Wishes,

Peter

Being from QLD where we lay claim to our famous Mary, I do recall the ditty. Since reading your post I can't stop humming it in my head. Very Clever. Thanks for the smile.

Hi,seems like a good idea to make sure you drink a lot BUT be careful as the acidic lemon and strawberries won't be kind to your teeth if you drink it over the day! I don't want to me cruel but that is how it is! Sorry...

Hi Swede

No apology needed. If it's your preference then drink it according to the tooth fairies recommendations, otherwise don't drink it.
