I have for PV, I was successful. It depends how old your policy is. Try claiming, you have nothing to loose.

Thanks, I plan on trying. I'm from the USA. I kinda got the impression that this sight is people from other countries.

Yes, it was simple. Just completed a form, as did my haematologist confirming diagnosis, and was paid out within weeks. I’m in the U.K. Sue

Yes. I have posted here before about making a claim with the full (but elusive) ABI statement on Critical Illness Cover and MPNs. However, that relates to the U.K. All the same, I recall previous posts about MPNers in the US making similar claims so you may want to keep trawling this site - and hopefully one of our friends from Across The Pond will also reply.

You’re right the Health Unlocked website is UK based and this Forum is hosted by MPN Voice which in turn was set up and is overseen by the Haem Team at Guys Hospital in London. However, it’s used by MPNers from across the globe which is a wonderful thing. There are of course US based sites as well. Good luck.

I have PV and have claimed successfully recently. It was relatively easy and was paid within around 6-8 weeks.

I have ET Jak2+ and made a successful claim for critical illness against my policy. I filled out a form, oncologist confirmed diagnosis, I submitted the documentation and was paid out within days. I am in South Africa. Good luck with your claim.
