RBC heading towards normal

PV isn't all about numbers. Sometimes we feel happy with seeing light at the end of a long dark tunnel. Since diagnoses, 2 years ago, my RBC's have been outwith normal range. After a 11/2 years on Pegasys. I finally see my RBC count being lowered and my iron levels slowing increasing. This is with my HCT holding at 38. Nice to share good news :)

Hi Poppy, I don’t know what my actual iron levels are. As far as i know MCV value is directly linked to the amount of iron available. Mine has been in the 60’s for over a year. Today it’s at 72. This appears on your FBC. Yes I have more energy, fatigue is still an issue.
