Weight loss.

Hi I have had a positive diagnosis of et since September.

I have a weight check since August. It would appear that I have had a decrease of 8lbs.

Should I mention this to my Consultant at my next appointment in February.

My medication is two tabs daily of hydro.

Hi Roger41,

When I have my four monthly appointment at the haematologist the nurse always weighs me. If this is something that is not done at your clinic I would definitely mention the weight loss to your Consultant.

They always weigh patients at my clinic. Unfortunately my weight is heading in the other direction 😟. If they don't weigh you please mention it to your doctor.

as others have said, do mention this. is it linked to falling apetite and maybe an enlarging spleen? worth checking

I get weighed each visit.

My gym has better scales.

I was concerned that as I am on gyro is this common to loose this much.?????
