cranberry juice

I have recently been diagnosed with polycytheamia vera, I have read a post saying not to take cranberry juice i you have a blood disorder. can anyone help please

Grapefruit juice I know we should not drink but never heard about Cranberry.

I was told and remember reading re Cranberry juice on diagnosis 6 years ago so I have always avoided cranberries since.

Are you on warfarin Maria ? . I am and cranberry is contra-indicated with warfarin .

Hi Dianne I am on asprin but have decided not to take cranberry tablets. Starting Hydroxy tonight!
