Hospital check up day guys! Wish me luck!

Going for a joint appointment with my sister who has ET. Don't know who needs most luck actually - us or our specialist nurse 🤣. We're a formidable force together!

Yes it was....surgeon who mended femur...he was very happy with new X Ray's ,all has healed well,B awful pressure stockings off,and I can walk with one crutch, except when dogs are around!!!!I am shocked how weak the leg is.So from good news to bad later .HC T shot up again and platelets plummeted.Last month was my best blood result for months, now all to pot again. So am I ,admit I cried ,was sooo disappointed..what a mad maladie we have.Hope all is o k still with you X Sally

Oh Sally. So many things can change our blood counts. Please don't feel too down about it! My specialist nurse told me that if he took two blood tests two hours apart they would read differently! Enjoy the fact that your leg is healing and just love the good things in your life! L x

You a re of course absolutely right.I don't usually get so down,I just thought my blood was getting right ,was so disappointed all was wrong again, things can't be so bad ,the surgeon was obviously surprised as well as pleased that femur is healing so well, and that I can walk as well as I do.....

That's good news for you. Itching can be horrendous I have suffered from hives the last months, to the extent of swelling. Now carry Epipen x
