Does anyone else with PV get achey thighs?

Hello - this is my first post! I was diagnosed with PV in May (aged 45) and it's great to have found this excellent forum. Just a quick query - I've been taking hydroxycarbamide (1.5g per day) and aspirin (75g per day) plus have had three venesections. All OK so far - platelets and white blood cells have decreased into the normal range, previously very high red cell count is now at the top end of normal. I have ocassional dizzy spells and a feeling of being slightly out of it and I'm frequently getting an achey sensation in my right thigh and hip. Not sharp joint pain like some posts but more a dull ache. Does anyone else get this?

Hello Disney71, welcome to our forum, yes many people do get dizzy spells and feeling out of it and dull pains in bones and joints, so you are not alone, it's all part of having a MPN I am afraid. Best wishes, Maz

Thanks Maz much appreciated! It is always good to know you are not alone. Having only recently been diagnosed with PV I am now very much more aware of every feeling within me - I suspect one gets better at dealing with this over time. All the best. Disney
