Polycythemia....should I actually worry....??

I don't know whether I should worry or not...I have hb of 17.5 my RBCs are just little above normal...wbcs are fine and platelet count is not high at all....there is a fact that when I gave my blood tests I was having a little fever due to throat inflammation.....I do have given Jak2 test as well and waiting for it's result....

Sounds like a great set of blood results Mnnvv, ,forgive me for asking as I might have overlooked a previous post you might of made but have you had a MPN diagnosis or is it a precautionary test. . I would perhaps expect your WBC count to be higher if you're fighting infection. . I hope all is cell with you and your tests come b ack ok.

Thanks buddy...but it was just a precautionary test...I still am not sure that whether my platelet count match with my hb. With former being 17.5 and later 177....

My jak 2 report came negative but still high hb is causing mild headache to me..or is it because of high hb??....what now..??
