Hi everyone

My husband came with me to the meeting as I'm not the best for remembering stuff ,

We were very impressed with everything that was discussed from all the wonderful consultants, specialist nurses Patient speekers & ok course are MPN voice team , ( thank you )

They covered amazingly cell change & the cell gets shorter & shorter & splits

And new meds that are hopefully coming out soon to stop the cells producing jak2 (inhibitors, )

all very interesting stuff ,

Fatigue, Pain , related to MPNers

I could go on on on ,

We branched of into groups and I found this very helpful, my hubby was in the family group ( he left me 😱) I was in ET group , we discussed not getting the information we need when diagnosed ,

Support if we need to reduce working hours , or having to leave work

general feelings about the disease,

And a delicious buffet & drinks x

All in all a good meeting x

Thanks to all who made this possible 🙏

Love Pam , xx

Hi, thank you to everyone who came along to the forum, it was great to meet new people, especially Pam and her lovely husband and to see familiar faces. It was a great forum, we are sorry that we had to change rooms at the last minute, but we would have been very squashed in the original room even though they said it holds 85 people, we would have been touching knees! Hope to see you all again either next year in Newcastle or somewhere else around the country. Maz
