Ok lab work done results in. Platelets down 43 points from 510 to 467. I attribute this to prayer and pomegranate pills. Been doing some experiments with pomegranate juice and pills. Both have resulted in a decrease. I praise God too. The only thing I take for my ET is a daily aspirin and my pomegranate pill. Am grateful

May it all continue, especially the thankful heart, no matter what the outcome. I wish you healing.

Hi Cannonfire. Pomegranate juice and seeds did the same for me but still ended up on interferon due to other counts. well done to you though, I cannot even look at pomegranates now!!! Mel

I was interested to read this post as I have been taking pomegranate juice, tea and fruit. Didn't know there was a pill available. I only take 100mg of aspirin daily and my platelets have come down from 881 to 655 the lowest they have been since diagnosed in august. I also thank the universe for my wellness. Oh there Is one my thing I rake and it is called ambrotose power, a product of Australia. This states it helps the immune system. I shall continue all of the above and hopefully continue to feel well. Thanks Lyn

so i take it , its okay to take pomegrate tablets ! my hubby said i should check with Gp ,is a herbal suppliment ! i dont think theres must of pomegranate in the juice , may be more beneficial on the pills i think in Holland bpn barrett in uk there in capsules form

so pleased this helped you cannonfire 😊

That's great news Cannonfire, hope it continues to go well. Always nice to hear good news.

I hadnt realised pomegranites were supposed to be good in this way. I have eaten them regularly for a few years as I seem to remember they are thought to be good prevention against cancer. My local branch of Morrisons (Shefield) have started stocking packs of 4 pomegranites for £1. Never seen them so cheap in supermarkets. I used to get them cheap at Turkish corner shops in south London.

I have E.T, and since reading these posts, have bought Pomegranate capsules from Holland and Barrat. I have my regular blood tests on the 21st of December and will have been taking them for almost 3 weeks by then. If my platelets have come down that will be amazing and surely no coincidence. I am currently only taking Asprin 75mg and the above posts have given me hope of making a difference naturally and avoiding Hydroxy for longer. I will keep you posted on the outcomes. Just need to tackle the stiffness and aches now......

I certainly will cannonfire, and thankyou for your positive thoughts. I will even count it as "win" if they havent gone up! Ha! How fab would that be if natural products could help us.

Why not get pomegranates while they are in season?

Hi PVPVPV

i have got the fresh fruit as well. Im putting them salads. Its a bit hit and miss with the quality of the fruit though, they look fine from the outside, but can be quite bruised inside. Nice flavour and texture tossed in a salad with bulgar wheat and a bit of feta.
